To Craft or Not to Craft: The Art of Prioritizing

Today I am rambling about the art of prioritizing in your crafting world.

So about 3 months ago I was sitting with my dear friend Sara having lunch and she said those magic words "Why don't you think about selling your accessories full-time" and then everything clicked. The voice in the back of my head said "Yes. Now. Go. Do." And I was off. I bought books, created more business cards and other marketing materials. I started crafting my little fingers off. So now I have a larger stock. I show about 1/3 of my stock on Etsy.com and the rest I save for Craft Fairs. (Which reminds me, it's about that time.)

So, in knitting my fingers to the bone I discovered that there are not enough hours in the day. I love to knit. I love to craft more then many things, including cleaning my closet. Reorganizing my work space. Packing for my Honeymoon (18 days til the Wedding and 19 days til Ireland!)

So now I find myself in need of making a schedule just to make sure that everything gets done. Crazy. I now see how this will become a full time job.

Tip: VistaPrint.com I LOVE them like no woman with a credit card should. Honestly though, they are fantastic. Just make sure that you don't pay for anything, they have to many sales. Just pay shipping and handling. If it is not on sale now wait a week.
